In early September, 2021 SJHA formed a COVID Task Force dedicated to creating transparent, consistent, and research-based COVID policies, procedures, and practices to protect the health and safety of our community. This Task Force is made up of devoted hockey parents in our community who are practicing health care professionals. The Task Force meets weekly to continuously research local, state, and national COVID policies, communicate with teams and families when positive cases come to SJHA, and work to foster an environment of education, respect, and community. It is an expectation that all SJHA players, coaches, and families follow the current SJHA policies for masking, social distancing, and quarantine procedures. For any and all COVID related questions, please reach out to - please do not write Hockey Director Marty Rubin with COVID questions. We will read all inquiries, but will not be able to respond to all questions.

In cooperation with the CDC, local governments, and state governments, Seattle Junior Hockey Association has created the following COVID SAFETY PLAN to ensure we provide the safest environment possible for our hockey community. The policies and procedures are essentially base-lines and can always been exceeded by teams.

We pledge to work with other local associations to provide up-to-date policies for our buildings ahead of home games.

The SJHA COVID SAFETY PLAN is a working document and will be updated as new information arises and restrictions are added or lifted.  For questions or more information pertaining to Seattle Junior Hockey Association with regard to our COVID policies or procedures please contact our COVID Task Force at
